10:00AM - GET HIP –  Get Hip! is a fun, interactive program that illuminates the cultural origins of Jazz as well as concepts about improvisation and creative self expression. Exploring the role and responsibility of each band member Get Hip! draws on the themes of team work, civic responsibility, cooperation and collaboration. Grades 3-6.

12:00PM  - HANGIN’ WITH THE GIANTS – Staged as a late night talk show, Hangin' with the Giants features animated likenesses of jazz greats, Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis and Thelonious Monk as show guests and offers numerous opportunities for students to interact and participate. Features live narrator, multimedia and live 5 piece jazz ensemble. Grades 3-5
