My backyard is NYC. The pulse of the big apple is the same tempo of my very own and her vibe and flow is somethinig im very at home with. I started my career in DJ here at the Diesel Flagship store when they first openened and at the time the first to introduce the DJ aspect in that kind of setting. Needless to say it was a smash hit. And it marked the first time I was about to really touch a crowd. To effect people and to be complimented for enhancing that brief expereince, I was hooked. I was quickly adpted by the fashion industry djing runway shows and presentations. It was tough but it providied a lane into some of Manhattans hottest spots. Open format was my specialty at the time but wheat changed my life was when I started working at Pink Elephant opening for Paolo Vincenti following the strict program developed by Marco Peruzzi. I've always been a fan of how and at the time I thought I knew how to play it. Pink Elephant is where I REALLY learned how to spin house.

See, I could sit here and pound out a lofty 3rd person written bio with 5 dollar words and slick marketing swag but none of that will even scratch the surface or give you a hint of an idea of, for example, spinning at the Yacht Club in Gustavia Harbor St Barth on New Years Eve, dropping the music out at 12 only to hear Fireworks and Air Horn blasts from the Mega Yachts Lined up outside, then putting the music back on at 1am and spinning one of the wildest parties till 11am the next day. Or being apart of the team that launched whats considered to be the best Brunch Party in the World at the Plaza Hotel's Oak Room. Does all of that set me apart from the rest? No, it doesnt. What sets me apart is my passion. You will leave knowing youve experienced something special.

remember doing an event for Catherine Malandrino at her East Hampton Boutique one summer. And in the beginning I played it safe. I listened to the request of my client and I played lounge style music at a very low volume. People came, they sipped Champainge, exchanged the latest gossip as they picked through her collection. The PR agent that organized the event told me "Claudius, Ive seen you work and this isnt you. Trust me, turn it up and do what YOU do. She was tipsy and itching to turn it into a party and thats exactly what I did. All of a sudden the block was lined up with people with a sprinkle of celebs that happened to hear of it and with that said, Ive been turning it up and doing what I do ever since.
