Pat Kiernan is NY1's longtime morning news anchor. One of New York City's most recognizable and beloved media personalities, he is particularly well-known for his "In the Papers" feature, where he summarizes the colorful content of the city's daily newspapers. In 2009 he spun off "In the Papers" online by founding Pat's Papers, a daily roundup up of smartly selected news stories from across the country and world. A veteran TV game show host and pop culture expert, Kiernan became known to a national audience by hosting VH1's The World Series of Pop Culture for two seasons. In the spring of 2012, he was chosen to appear three times as a guest co-host on Live! With Kelly alongside Kelly Ripa. Called NYC's "resident trivia host" by The Huffington Post, in 2011 Kiernan joined TrivWorks as a Special Host for corporate entertainment and trivia team-building events, as well as select public events.
