Tamir Z. Brown and Lyrics to Go Entertainment, in association with Yume Music, present the Lyrics to Go President's Day Party featuring The Freedom Dance Party (Herbert Holler, DJ Cosi, and DJ Marc Smooth). In addition to sets by these three acclaimed DJs, the night will also feature an exclusive opening set by The Boom Bap with 4th Pyramid (of The Sheen Bros.) and Boogie Blind & Suga Ray. This event will be hosted by Greg Nice and will be an official birthday celebration for Poison Pen.

One night, DJs Cosi, Marc Smooth, and Herbert Holler were drinking uptown, asking themselves some questions. What happened to the music? What happened to the dance floor? What happened to NYC? They longed for a time when people went out to have fun. A time when people came together from all walks of life, under one roof, and let themselves be free. A time when music was the answer and people danced and sang and rejoiced as one. All three of these DJs were fed up with these "hot" new lounges that care more about your income than your soul – the latest hang-outs where people are more focused on what you're wearing and who you know than on how you dance, and where all the action isn't on the dance floor at all, but in the VIP section, where people scramble for seats just to feel important.

Enough was enough. The power trio decided right then and there it was time to right this wrong. They set out to provide people with fond memories they could look back on – to give people a place where they could feel free to let it all hang out and have fun, no matter what tax bracket they were in, no matter where they shopped for their clothing, or who they had in their list of contacts. It was their turn to make people smile. It was time for change. It was time for Freedom.

Today, the Freedom Dance Party is the most successful, sought-after dance party in NYC. For almost a decade now, on a weekly basis, Cosi, Smooth, and Holler have packed the house with the most positive, fun-loving, high-spirited, beautiful people in all of NYC, and in fact from across the country and the broader world. Tonight, in honor of President's Day, they bring the party to the Highline Ballroom. Because after all, nothing goes better with presidents than a little Freedom. Don't miss it.
