Cathyland is a NYC-based production company, dedicated to the celebration of 80s arena rock and pop through high-energy, live rock tribute shows, featuring a rotating cast of singers, dancers and performers backed by Cathyland's house backing band, COVERBOY! We live for big stages, big lights, big live vocals and fog machines ...and we rock them all. Cathyland produces many annual events in the NY area, including Madonnathon, Love Bites! Power Ballad Party, Sham*Rock: U2 Tribute, Fire & Ice: Benatar Tribute & the Cheap Trick or Treat tribute show. Regular performers include Mark Rinzel (Jupiter Deluxe), Tony Zajkowski (Lotion, Honeycomb), Corn Mo, Felicia Collins (David Letterman), Lisa Jackson, Yana (Shiny Mama), Erik Paparozzi (Cat Power) & many others...
Cathy Cervenka, Cathyland's leader, is a producer & performer, best-known as one half of comedic musical duo The Hohos, regular performers at Loser's Lounge and Night of 1,000 Stevies. Cathy loves the 80s and long walks on beaches....in the 80s.
