This year on World Food Day, Mercy Corps will officially open the new Action Center to End World Hunger and kick-off “Hunger Action Week.” This week of seven events will raise awareness about global hunger and the steps we can all take to make a difference. The Action Center is a first-of-its-kind interactive public space that educates and empowers visitors to tackle the global challenges posed by hunger and poverty. Visitors will learn about the root causes of hunger and be given the tools and opportunity to take action while at the Action Center, as well as in their communities and around the world.
Mercy Corps is an international non-governmental organization, which exists to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities.
General Admission: $50 ( Standing in orchestra )
